ShuBrew is hiring a part-time prep cook to join our kitchen team in Zelienople.

This position would start part-time, with the opportunity to grow into full-time for the right person if that is something they want. We’re looking for someone dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a scratch kitchen.

This prep cook will work alongside one other prep cook to keep the kitchen stocked and ready for service. You’ll be part of the backbone of the kitchen — making sauces, dressings, pickles, proteins, vegetables, pizza prep, brunch prep, and other core items that keep service running smoothly.

This is a great fit for someone who likes structure, takes pride in clean work, and wants to be part of a busy, creative kitchen without being thrown straight onto the line every shift.

Responsibilities include:

Preparing ingredients and recipes according to ShuBrew standards
Following prep lists and production sheets
Portioning, labeling, dating, and organizing product
Maintaining a clean and organized prep area
Working efficiently with one other prep cook
Communicating with kitchen leadership about low product, quality issues, or prep needs
Helping the line stay set up for lunch, dinner, brunch, and events

We’re looking for someone who is:

Reliable and on time
Comfortable using knives and basic kitchen equipment
Organized and clean
Able to follow recipes and systems
Willing to learn
Comfortable working as part of a small team
Able to lift, carry, stand, and work on their feet for a full shift

Kitchen experience is preferred, but attitude and reliability matter most. If you care about doing good work and want to grow in a scratch kitchen, we can train the rest.
