Director, Revenue Cycle

Responsibilities Establish and maintain the organization’s accounting principles, financial controls, auditing practices, and procedures Manage the performance and effectiveness of the organization’s billing and revenue control function Supervise and monitor the accounting department Direct the formulation, monitoring and presentation of budgets Provides leadership and oversight of the Billing Team to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant claims processing and cash collections Leads strategies to maintain accounts receivable performance and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) within established organizational targets Ensures organizational compliance with all regulatory and financial reporting requirements related to reimbursement and revenue cycle activities Provides strategic oversight of revenue cycle systems and workflows to ensure operational efficiency and compliance Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting/finance functions Revenue Cycle leadership and accounting/billing experience preferred Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, advanced Excel, E-mail Excellent interpersonal skills required Teamwork and communication skills essential for dealing with agency team and outside contacts ATS Optimization Keywords Below are skills and terms extracted directly from this job posting to improve Applicant Tracking System (ATS) visibility.
