Responsibilities:
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience, including previous charge nurse experience.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Ability to work with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:10.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience in long-term care or similar healthcare settings.
- Previous experience floating between units.
- Weekend coverage required every other weekend.
- Float to other units as needed.
- Local candidates are not accepted; must reside more than 75 miles away from the facility.
- Shift assignments include all shifts with weekend rotations every other weekend.
- Staffing ratio maintained at 1 nurse to 10 patients on all shifts.
