Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified professional with at least 2 years of experience in a hospital setting to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to independently cover both CT and X-ray modalities, often operating with single staff coverage.

Unit Information

• Unit Name: Swift Creek ER
• Number of Beds: 12 bed freestanding ER, 7 vertical fast track area
• Average Daily Patient Volume: 80 patients per day, with 100+ during winter surge
• Nursing Patient Ratios: 4-8 patients per nurse

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray procedures in a freestanding emergency room.
• Work independently while providing exceptional patient care.
• Demonstrate professional and friendly communication skills with patients and staff.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.
• Must possess a valid VA license or compact at the time of submission.
• Current certifications in CPR, ARRT, and ARRT-CT.

Work Environment

This is a busy, high-acuity freestanding emergency room offering a dynamic work environment with opportunities to engage in normal ER procedures (excluding surgical procedures or biopsies).

Dress Code

Grey scrubs are required as part of the uniform.
