Social Media & Influencer Strategist

Full-time

Gameday Men's Health

Location: Remote

Department: Marketing & Creative

Type: Full-Time

Pay Range: $75,000 - $95,000 BOE

About Us

Gameday Men's Health is the largest and fastest-growing men's health company in the country, with 400+ locations. Our mission is to help men take control of their health, performance, and longevity. Our brand speaks directly to the modern man: ambitious, proactive, and committed to getting better in every area of his life.

About the Role

We're looking for a Social Media & Influencer Strategist to own how Gameday shows up on social and through creators.

You'll set the direction, decide where we focus, measure what's working, and turn results into the next plan. You'll also roll up your sleeves to create content and manage partners when needed. You'll work closely with our creative team, influencers, and Franchise Marketing Managers to grow the brand nationally and support 400+ local clinics.

Key Responsibilities

Social Strategy

  • Build and own the annual social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and new platforms as they emerge.
  • Decide which channels, formats, and audiences get priority, and why, based on data and business goals.
  • Set KPIs and goals for social and influencer programs, tied to brand awareness, engagement, and patient leads.
  • Plan quarterly campaign and content themes around key campaigns, seasonal moments, and industry trends.
  • Present a monthly performance readout to leadership with clear recommendations on what to start, stop, and scale.

Influencer & Creator Strategy

  • Design and run Gameday's influencer program: who we partner with, how we pay them, and how we measure return.
  • Build a creator mix that covers national talent, niche creators, and UGC.
  • Find, vet, and sign the right influencers, then manage briefs, approvals, and deliverables.
  • Track influencer and UGC performance and cost per result, and shift budget toward what works.

Content Direction & Creation

  • Set the creative direction for social content and keep brand voice and visuals consistent across every platform.
  • Write creative briefs and give direction to content agencies, influencers, and in-house designers.
  • Create platform-native content yourself when needed (short-form video, stories, carousels, memes).
  • Own the content calendar and approval process.

Franchise Social Strategy

  • Build the social playbook, templates, and best practices that Franchise Marketing Managers use with local clinics.
  • Define what the national accounts post versus what local clinics post, so the brand stays consistent system-wide.
  • Train Franchise Marketing Managers and franchisees on social best practices and brand standards.

Community & Brand Health

  • Set the community management approach and response guidelines for comments, DMs, mentions, and reviews.
  • Oversee daily community management (directly or through a coordinator or agency).
  • Monitor brand mentions, social listening, and trends, and flag issues or opportunities to leadership.

Analytics & Insights

  • Track weekly and monthly performance: reach, engagement, follower growth, referral traffic, and leads.
  • Run tests on content, formats, and creators, and use the results to improve the plan.
  • Stay current on algorithm updates and platform changes, and turn them into action.

Compliance

  • Make sure all social and creator content follows Gameday's compliance guidelines, healthcare advertising rules, platform health ad policies, and FTC disclosure rules.

What You Bring
  • 4+ years of experience in social media and influencer marketing, ideally in health, wellness, or a lifestyle brand.
  • A track record of building social and influencer strategies from the ground up, not just running them.
  • Experience setting KPIs, managing a budget, and showing results to leadership.
  • Deep knowledge of each platform's algorithm, content types, and best practices.
  • Experience directing influencers, content agencies, and internal teams to deliver results.
  • Strong writing skills and an eye for design. Comfortable creating and editing content yourself.
  • Strong with analytics. You can read the numbers and change the plan based on what they show.
  • Experience with tools like Hootsuite (or similar), Canva, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Creator Center, and influencer platforms such as Upfluence.
  • Self-starter with excellent project management and communication skills.
