Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above in Mathematics or a related teaching field;

Hold a nationally recognized teaching qualification/certificate;

Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a multicultural environment;

At least two years of teaching experience in MYP/IGCSE/DP programs;

Proficiency in written curriculum, instructional delivery, and assessment practices;

Capable of using English as the working language for daily teaching and communication.

Key Responsibilities
Teaching and Curriculum Management

Implement effective classroom management to create an orderly and positive learning environment that supports every student's learning rights;

Deliver mathematics instruction in English, plan teaching resources appropriately, and save materials to the school server, ManageBac, or Moodle as required;

Build and maintain courses on the Moodle platform;

Design and refine written curriculum documents in line with program requirements;

Collaborate with Chinese National Curriculum (CNC) teachers to develop and optimize integrated curricula;

Ensure that all courses meet established learning outcome goals.

Assessment and Feedback

Design and implement meaningful, authentic formative and summative assessment tasks;

Analyze student performance data and apply findings to inform instructional improvements;

Take responsibility for student learning progress, ensuring that growth is measurable and trackable;

Communicate regularly with parents regarding student academic achievement and development.

Curriculum Planning and Collaboration

Facilitate both vertical and horizontal curriculum alignment, ensuring participation in weekly collaborative planning meetings;

Contribute to the collaborative writing of unit plans and update them promptly on ManageBac;

Submit lesson plans and archive student work samples in both the teacher folder and the ManageBac system.

Instructional Innovation and Student Development

Employ diverse teaching methodologies to actively engage students and enhance their learning experience;

Partner with the pastoral care team to conduct regular student follow-ups, assist in goal-setting, and drive continuous improvement;

Support the organization of student learning showcases and actively participate in exhibitions, field trips, academic competitions, judging events, house activities, and other school community initiatives.

Professional Development and Quality Assurance

Collect and maintain evidence of written, taught, and assessed curricula to support program evaluation and staff performance reviews;

Complete student progress reports and evaluative feedback in a timely manner in accordance with school policies;

Uphold academic integrity and pastoral care standards, meeting all professional expectations for faculty members.

General Duties
Fulfill all assigned responsibilities with diligence and accountability;

Lead one Co-Curricular Activity (CCA) session per week;

Conduct one Parent-Teacher Conference per semester;

Carry out other tasks assigned by the Head of Secondary;

Consistently align professional conduct with the school's mission and core values;

Understand and implement all applicable school policies and procedures;

Actively participate in school workshops, faculty meetings, and IB-sponsored internal and external training sessions and conferences;

Comply with all provisions outlined in the staff handbook;

Complete self-evaluation records accurately on the school's software platform.

定期与家长沟通学生学业及成长情况。

课程规划与协作

推进纵向与横向的课程衔接与规划，确保每周参与协作备课会议；

参与单元计划的协作编写，并及时在ManageBac平台更新；

提交课程计划，并将学生作业样本归档至教师文件夹及ManageBac系统。

教学创新与学生发展

采用多样化的教学方法，激发学生主动参与课堂，提升学习体验；

配合德育团队，定期跟进学生表现，协助设定学习目标并推动持续进步；

协助组织学生成果展示，积极参与成果展、社会实践、学科竞赛、评审活动及学院活动等，为学校社区建设贡献力量。

专业发展与质量保障

收集并保存书面课程、实施课程与评估课程的相关材料，为课程评估及教职工绩效考核提供依据；

按照学校政策要求，及时完成学生成绩报告与评价反馈；

恪守学术诚信及德育规范，践行学校对教师的职业期望。

一般职责
