MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN

1st shift position

Pay $18-$25/hr. DOE

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Read and interpret blueprints, illustrations, and specifications to determine layouts,
Align and fit structural assemblies manually
Assemble prefabricated parts to form subassemblies
Assemble, install, connect parts, fittings, and assemblies on equipment, using layout tools, hand tools, power tools, and fasteners such as bolts, screws, rivets, and clamps
Cut, trim, file, bend, and smooth parts, and verify sizes and fitting tolerances to ensure proper fit and clearance of parts
Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED; if Electrical Service Tech, requires an associate's degree
2-5+ years of work experience as a Mechanic, Maintenance Technician, or Mechanical Technician, Service Technician
Must be willing to work in fast paced environment with tight timeline-some travel to client sites required
