We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Wastewater Operator for a direct-hire position. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this essential role is responsible for the operation and maintenance of critical plant utility systems, with a primary focus on our wastewater treatment facilities and associated pumping equipment. You will ensure continuous and reliable operations through diligent monitoring, proactive maintenance, and expert troubleshooting during the overnight shift.

Waste Water Operator Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $ 72,467.20 to $ 74,547.20 / annually
• Full Time work available
• Various shifts available (Monday through Friday)

• 1st Shift - Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm - $34.84/hr
• 3rd Shift - Monday-Friday 11pm-7am - $35.84/hr
• Operate, monitor, and maintain the plant's wastewater treatment systems and various utility components, including pumps.
• Perform routine daily checks, inspections, and monitoring of system performance, gauges, and controls to ensure optimal function.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks on wastewater infrastructure, pumps, and other utility equipment to uphold operational reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues promptly and effectively, minimizing downtime and supporting seamless plant operations.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company operational standards.

Waste Water Operator Qualifications:

• Experience working with wastewater systems
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting for equipment operation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Maryland T4 Waste Water Operator or Industrial Wastewater Works Operator, Class 2 * We will cover costs for certifications, if willing to complete them.
