Industrial Equipment Reliability Technician
Join a family-owned manufacturer crafting premium chairs and tables for commercial dining. You’ve likely seen their work in leading fast-casual brands and vibrant university cafés. As an experienced technician, you’ll keep production moving by supporting machine programming, tube bending, and hands-on maintenance across a variety of fabrication assets.
A day in the life
Review work orders and machine specification papers to pinpoint equipment needing service, repair, or preventive attention.
Operate a forklift to position materials and components required for your tasks.
Troubleshoot mechanical and automation issues and determine the best repair path—execute in-house or coordinate outsourcing when appropriate.
Dismantle equipment using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists; replace or install parts and attachments per production specs; reassemble and return to service.
Inspect and test damaged parts, mark defects, and alert supervisors to significant repair needs.
Set up and operate machines, making precise control adjustments to meet operating parameters.
Record production, repair, and maintenance details in company systems.
Contribute to machine programming and tube bending activities to meet daily production goals.
Complete preventive maintenance tasks as outlined in the PM program to maximize uptime.
Pitch in with general construction tasks—painting, drywall, carpentry, and grounds keeping—when needed.
What you bring
2 years of experience programming lasers and robotic welders.
Hands-on tube bending experience.
High School diploma or GED.
Advanced math, measurement, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Exceptional attention to detail and quality.
Team mindset with willingness to help in other areas during peak demand.
Proficiency with general hand and shop tools (drills, grinders, sanders, welders, etc.).
Functional computer skills to log time and complete simple ERP transactions.
Schedule & pay
Monday – Friday, 1PM–9PM, plus OT as needed
$23.50–$29.50 per hour + 10% premium
$500 Sign On Bonus after 90 days based on attendance criteria
