Patient Access SpecialistCrook County Medical Services District is currently seeking a Part-Time Patient Access Specialist position for the Sundance Clinic. This position is responsible for scheduling patient appointments to maintain a steady flow for health care providers. Essential Functions:▪Must be able to work well with the public▪Registering patients- ER/Outpatients and Clinics▪Answering phones in a timely and professional manner▪Keeping medical records up to date▪Logging of daily payments▪Filling out outpatient sheets when necessary▪Collection of cash payments as needed▪Other duties as assignedQualifications/Education: ▪Minimum age of 16 years old▪High School Diploma or GED requiredExperience: ▪Previous receptionist experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred but not required.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:▪Demonstrates discretion and professionalism at all times. ▪Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Schedule:This will be a part-time position, and the schedule will vary based on clinic needs.
