Exciting Opportunity for a Travel RN in Progressive Care Unit!

Job Description:


- Join a brand new, state-of-the-art unit with cutting-edge technology and facilities.
- Experience a collaborative and friendly team culture , with a focus on teamwork and support.
- Work in a 24-bed Progressive Care Unit with a patient ratio of 5:1 .
- Engage with a diverse patient population, including:
- Elective orthopedic, spine, and GYN surgeries
- Post-catheterization lab procedures (PCI, pacemaker, ablation, cardioversion)
- Stroke management and CIWA care
- Patients with renal and respiratory failure
- Utilize telemetry monitoring and post-operative care equipment.
- Work alongside a skilled team of 4-5 RNs and 2-3 PCTs during day shifts; 4-5 RNs and 2 PCTs at night.
- Benefit from modified self-scheduling , allowing for flexibility and work-life balance.
- Plan your shifts three weeks in advance , providing ample time for trading shifts as needed.
- Must have:
- Minimum 1-year current hospital PCU experience
- BLS, ACLS & NIH certifications
- Preferred:
- Cardiac care experience
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
