In this role, you will not just talk about AI—you will build with it. You will create production-ready reference architectures, build compelling proof-of-concept applications, and teach developers how to leverage our platform to build next-generation AI workflows. If you are equally comfortable debugging complex RAG pipelines in Python and presenting to a room of 500 developers, this role is for you.Minimum Qualifications4+ years of experience as a software engineer, machine learning engineer, or technical developer advocate.Hands-on experience building applications using Large Language Models (LLMs). Familiarity with the modern AI stack, including orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack) and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus).Deep expertise in Python and its ecosystem. Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript is a strong plus for full-stack prototyping.A proven track record of writing clear, engaging technical content and presenting complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.A genuine desire to help other developers succeed, with the patience to debug community issues and translate them into actionable product feedback.Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience contributing to or maintaining open-source AI projects.Familiarity with model deployment, fine-tuning, or MLOps infrastructure.An existing network or presence within the AI/ML developer community.EEO StatementApple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
