Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced OR Tech to support the Cath Lab team in a busy acute care setting. The role involves scrubbing and assisting with adult cardiology and structural cardiology procedures in a Level IV Trauma Center.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Support Cath Lab team members during procedures by scrubbing in and working alongside the Cath Lab Tech.
  
  
• 
  Prepare and maintain sterile fields and surgical instruments for catheterization procedures.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with RN and other team members to ensure smooth workflow during cases.
  
  
• 
  Assist with patient positioning and other technical tasks as needed.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards throughout procedures.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Minimum of 2 years of OR Tech experience in a cath lab setting.
  
  
• 
  Active WV license or valid compact license required; pending licenses accepted for submission.
  
  
• 
  ARRT registered or equivalent credential required.
  
  
• 
  BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.
  
  
• 
  Must have completed prior cath lab procedures and have travel lab experience preferred.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with adult cardiology patients.
