Location: Hybrid 3 days in office (New York, NY, Denver, CO or Charlotte, NC area) Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and talented React Native Developer to join our team and play a critical role in shaping the future of our member facing mobile apps. Position Responsibilities Exercise leadership over all team products from design to production. Architect, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native (Swift and Kotlin where necessary) and React Query. Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to implement new features and improve existing ones. Optimize app performance, load times, and responsiveness. Monitor crash reports and usage metrics ensuring stability. Stay current with mobile and React Native best practices, trends, and tools Work with product managers and designers to refine requirements before implementation. Demonstrate technical leadership over product features. Represent product features technically to stakeholders. Demonstrate ownership and responsibility for large projects throughout their production lifecycles. Make strong architectural choices through careful evaluation and prior experience. Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to continually deliver features to stakeholders and clients. Proficient in TypeScript (React). Deep understanding of state management tools/patterns (React Query, Context API, Redux, etc.). Experience debugging native mobile issues and handling device specific behavior. Familiarity with mobile CI/CD tools (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, etc.). Desire to work in a health technology company. Git code management skills with experience working in a mono repository. Experience integrating monitoring solutions for deployed software and resources. A history of delivering complex mobile applications to the app stores. Good written communication skills that enable collaboration in a remote environment. Ability to work autonomously driving proactive collaboration to deliver results.
