Phlebotomist

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 2903 NE Andresen Rd in Vancouver, WA. Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm; overtime and rotating weekends may be required. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Minimum Qualifications Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA‑P) Preferred Qualifications 6 or more months of experience as a phlebotomist Additional Job Standards In lieu of the state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet the license requirement Able to pass a standardized color blindness test Flexibility to work overtime as needed Exceptional customer service Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Pay Range $17.75 to $27.69 per hour.
