Southern Health Partners is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at the Calhoun County Jail. This full-time night shift opportunity allows you to utilize your clinical skills, exercise critical thinking, and provide essential healthcare services to a patient population that depends on compassionate, professional care.
Whether you're an experienced correctional nurse or looking to expand your nursing career into a new specialty, we provide the training, support, and resources to help you succeed.
What You'll Do
As a member of our healthcare team, you'll play a vital role in delivering quality patient care throughout the facility.
Responsibilities include:
- Administering medications and treatments
- Conducting patient assessments and sick call evaluations
- Monitoring chronic and acute medical conditions
- Responding to urgent and emergent healthcare needs
- Collaborating with providers and fellow healthcare professionals
- Maintaining accurate medical documentation
- Supporting patient education and wellness initiatives
- Promoting safe, ethical, and professional nursing care
