Assignment Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Emergency Room/Department (ER/ED) care. This position is set in a Level 1 trauma acute care environment, where you will work with a diverse patient population ranging from minor complaints to critical conditions such as trauma patients, strokes, and heart attacks. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, relevant certifications, and have prior experience in a similar setting.

• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $3420.00 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

• Provide care to trauma and emergency patients
• Handle nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3-5 based on acuity
• Assist in trauma bay stabilization
• Administer and titrate vasopressor and cardiac drips
• Draw labs and interpret telemetry rhythms

Qualifications

Required:

• Active IL license or application in process
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications
• Proficient in handling critical patients and titration of drips
• Must understand and comply with drug-free campus policy

Preferred:

• 2 years nursing experience and 1 prior travel assignment
• SANE RN experience
• Experience in a teaching hospital
