This is not an ordinary cashier position; it is a fast-paced, customer-focused position that requires multi-tasking and an outgoing and friendly personality. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, transacting customer purchases with accuracy, adhering to state and/or federal tobacco and alcohol sales laws, maintaining the cleanliness of store premises, handling inventory, and replenishing store stock. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, sweeping, mopping, picking up trash, cleaning restrooms, removing snow, and performing light maintenance. Individuals in this position can enjoy working in our state-of-the-art convenience stores. The pay rate for this position is $18.25 per hour plus commission.Requirements:Must be 18 years of age or olderExcellent communication skills and a passion for providing great customer servicePrior experience in customer service and/or sales is preferredAbility to compute basic mathematical calculationsWillingness to work in all weather conditions, both indoor and outdoor environments, and extreme temperature conditionsUnwavering honesty and integrityCourteous and professional demeanorAbility to work with a sense of urgencyWillingness to adapt easily to change as our products/services/promotions update frequentlyAbility to stand, walk and bend for long periods of time, with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to lift moderate amounts of weight, with or without reasonable accommodationWillingness to work a flexible scheduleEffective June 1, 2024, seasonal employment opportunities due to attending school are no longer available.
