Our team is known for delivering exceptional patient care with compassion, precision, and professionalism. We are seeking an organized and patient-focused Surgery Scheduler to join our growing team. Position Overview The Surgery Scheduler plays a critical role in coordinating surgical procedures and ensuring a smooth experience for patients from consultation to surgery. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple scheduling priorities in a fast-paced medical environment. Responsibilities Schedule surgical procedures with hospitals and surgery centers Coordinate surgery dates, pre-operative appointments, and post-operative visits Communicate surgery details and instructions clearly with patients Obtain and verify insurance information when applicable Coordinate with surgeons, clinical staff, and surgical facilities Prepare and maintain accurate patient scheduling records in EMR systems Ensure all required documentation is completed prior to surgery Provide exceptional customer service and patient support Qualifications 2+ years of medical scheduling experience preferred (surgery scheduling strongly preferred) Experience in plastic surgery or surgical specialties is a plus Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and patient service skills Familiarity with EMR systems and medical office workflows Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment Compensation & Benefits $24-27 per hour 401(k) with 4% Safe Harbor match 2 weeks paid time off (PTO) Birthday PTO Additional week of PTO after 3 years Supportive team environment Opportunity to grow within a premier surgical practice Our team is known for exceptional patient care, professionalism, and a collaborative work environment.
