Clinical Lab Scientist (Generalist) - Hematology Expertise

Schedule

This position requires a 5x 8-hour day shift with rotating weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Lab Scientist (Generalist) with a strong background in hematology. The ideal candidate should possess a California license and be certified by ASCP or HEW.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and analyses to provide accurate diagnostic information.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with laboratory standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret laboratory results.
• Assist in developing and implementing new testing procedures and protocols.
• Participate in training and mentoring laboratory staff as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid California Clinical Lab Scientist license.
• Certification by ASCP or HEW is required.
• Experience in hematology is highly desired.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
