Professional development opportunities , including CEUs and online training Tuition discounts through Rasmussen University Bonus Opportunities – Contract Completion / Referrals As a CST you will: Prepare surgical supplies and equipment for scheduled and emergency procedures Assist in prepping patients, including cleansing and draping surgical sites for Organ Transplant Work closely with surgeons and the surgical team during procedures Maintain accurate instrument and sharps counts Handle surgical specimens for lab processing Apply post-procedure dressings and/or casts as needed A few must-haves for CSTs: Active CST license in the state of Indiana Current BLS certification 3+ years of recent surgical tech experience with organ transplant - liver transplant skills are required.
