Outreach Coordinator
$30 per hourJCCGCI
Description The position of Outreach Coordinator is essentially a sales / promotion position for someone who wants to dedicate their abilities towards helping others, and who works well in the field with a hybrid schedule. Success in this position will depend on the ability to generate and implement creative ideas and solutions. Tasks include (but are not limited to):
This is an on-site/in-field Full-Time position; 35 hours per week Pay: $30 per hour Comprehensive benefits package is included JCCGCI Inc. is an EOE.
- Expanding our programming by pushing awareness out to the general public & gathering registrations
- Designing group trip ideas and managing client signups
- Designing and implementing transportation-related workshops and classes for our target populations
- Developing and maintaining relationships with established companies / social programs / housing programs / etc as a source for new and repeat clients
- Keeping up-to-date database of leads, places approached, successful relationships developed, and contact information
- Reviewing client intake paperwork for completeness and accuracy; assisting with keeping client data accurate and up-to-date
- Maintaining confidentiality of all client records; complying with JCCGCI data and privacy standards.
- Assisting with programmatic data entry into departmental databases and apps
- Other related tasks as needed
- Loves meeting / connecting people and developing relationships; strong interpersonal skills
- Creative problem solver / idea generator
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Hybrid position; must be able to travel efficiently to all five boroughs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google workspaces
- Can maintain professionalism and above-average customer service presentation
- Excellent attention to detail, spelling, and grammar in all data entry and written communication
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Can work independently and collaboratively with program staff
- Can communicate and present effectively; fluency in other languages strongly preferred
