Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 14 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nurse position in Spokane, Washington. The role involves caring for cardiovascular and intermediate acuity patients within a 34-bed hospital equipped with advanced technology. The position requires strong cardiac experience and offers flexible scheduling and orientation. Job Details: Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Shift cycle is set in 6-week periods with schedule preferences considered. Required Qualifications: Valid licensure and certifications including BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS; 2 years of strong cardiac or PCU experience; ability to care for cardiovascular patients, interpret rhythms, and manage cardiac drips such as nitro, heparin, Amiodarone, and others. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in cardiac telemetry, post-operative cardiac care, and telemetry monitoring. Float: Float rotation may be required, including coverage on Medical-Surgical units, ICU overflow, and other areas as needed. Additional Information: Orientation consists of 12-hour units; no on-call required but opportunity to pick up extra shifts; holiday work expectations include 2 of 3 major holidays. Scrub color is any solid, professional color. Parking options include free and paid lots.
