Your mission Be the on‑site technical driver for PVD operations—plan experiments, coach teams, and translate learnings into standard work. Improve flow, yield, and quality using data, SPC, and rigorous problem‑solving methodologies (8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys). Lead application development and production scale‑ups with the Plant Management team. Implement targeted equipment or process upgrades to unlock capability and capacity. Own QMS adherence—maintain ISO 9001:2015 and

ISO 13485

:2016 processes; train colleagues on procedures and work instructions. Embed Lean tools (5S, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping) to eliminate waste and stabilize outcomes. Tackle related tasks as the operation evolves. What you’ll need to succeed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science/Metallurgy, or Plasma Physics. 3+ years’ hands‑on vacuum coating experience in thin films; deep familiarity with PVD/PACVD equipment and processes. Working knowledge of ISO quality systems; APQP experience including PFMEA and Control Plans. Mechanical design aptitude with AutoCAD (or similar) and the ability to manage small to mid‑size projects. Clear communication, strong organization, detail orientation, and a collaborative approach. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (~10%).
