Design Assistant

Design Department Assistant Location: El Paso, TX, 79901 Schedule: Full-time Pay: $18 Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Design Department Assistant to support our Design/Engineering team. This role will handle administrative, coordination, and documentation tasks to keep projects organized and on schedule. The position will also assist other departments as needed, including Accounting, Payroll, and additional administrative functions. Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative and coordination support to the Design team Track project deadlines, schedules, and submittals Prepare and organize design/project documentation Maintain digital and physical filing systems Coordinate communication between departments and vendors Assist with basic revisions, markups, and document updates Support additional departments such as Accounting and Payroll with general administrative tasks Qualifications: 1-3 years of administrative support experience Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to multitask and meet deadlines Experience in construction/design environments is a plus Work Environment: Office-based with standard administrative duties.
