Join Aluma Home Care as an onsite Human Resource Specialist supporting recruiting, onboarding, and audit-ready personnel compliance for non-medical home care staffing. Responsibilities Recruit qualified non-medical home care aides and administrative personnel via job boards, recruiting platforms, referrals, career fairs, and community partnerships Review applications and resumes to identify qualified candidates Conduct phone screenings and schedule in-person or virtual interviews for caregiver and administrative roles Coordinate hiring decisions with department managers Extend employment offers and prepare offer letters Complete onboarding for newly hired caregivers and administrative staff Collect and verify required pre-employment documentation before employment begins Coordinate and verify background checks, BCI/FBI screenings, employment eligibility verification (I-9), and other required hiring documentation Ensure compliance with PASSPORT, MyCare Ohio, Medicaid Managed Care organization requirements, Ohio Department of Aging, Ohio Department of Medicaid, and agency hiring requirements Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready employee personnel files Coordinate new hire orientation for caregivers and administrative staff Conduct or facilitate pre-employment training and orientation for non-medical home care aides Ensure employees complete required competency testing and orientation prior to client assignment Maintain training records and monitor completion of required annual in-service education Track employee certifications, annual training deadlines, background check renewals, and required employment documentation Notify employees and supervisors of upcoming training and credential expiration dates Coordinate annual in-service education and mandatory continuing education requirements Maintain employee compliance dashboards and reports Enter and maintain employee information in the electronic medical record, payroll system, and other agency software Collaborate with Scheduling and Operations to ensure only compliant caregivers are assigned to client cases Assist employees with onboarding questions, employment documentation, benefits enrollment, and agency policies Maintain strict confidentiality of employee records in accordance with HIPAA and employment regulations Participate in internal audits and regulatory reviews involving personnel records Assist with employee recognition, retention initiatives, and engagement activities Support performance evaluation processes and employee corrective action documentation as directed Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and agency employment regulations Perform other human resources and administrative duties as assigned Maintain fully compliant personnel files for all employees; complete caregiver onboarding in a timely manner to meet staffing needs Ensure all new hires complete orientation and pre-employment requirements prior to providing services Ensure no employee provides services with expired or incomplete employment requirements Support successful compliance with Ohio Department of Aging, Ohio Department of Medicaid, PASSPORT, MyCare Ohio, Medicaid Managed Care Organization, and agency audits Maintain positive candidate and employee experiences throughout hiring and onboarding Collaborate with Operations, Scheduling, Clinical, and Leadership teams to support agency growth and compliance Requirements High school diploma or GED required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred Minimum 2 years of human resources, recruiting, or healthcare administrative experience Experience recruiting caregivers, home care staff, or healthcare employees preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
