Location Miami, FL | Inpatient Acute Rehab
Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Weekends and holidays may be required
Key Responsibilities

Conduct occupational therapy evaluations on patients within a 35-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
Deliver therapeutic activities and exercises tailored to individual patient goals
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and functional task training
Provide patient, family, and caregiver training and education
Utilize lift equipment, adaptive devices, exercise equipment, and an outdoor training patio as part of treatment
Document patient care using Meditech (transitioning to Expanse in October 2026)
Required Qualifications

Active Florida Occupational Therapist License

required
CPR/BLS Certification

required
Minimum 2 years of occupational therapy experience
Ability to manage an estimated caseload of 4 inpatient rehab patients per day
Preferred Experience / Skills

Previous travel therapy experience preferred
Experience in an inpatient rehabilitation or IRF setting
Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to work weekends and holidays
