Job Title

Pay Rate: $35-40 per hour Work Mode: Hybrid Location: Houston, TX Duration: 12 Months

Summary

Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in Oracle. Review and validate requisitions (PORs) before PO creation. Confirm supplier setup and availability in Oracle. Navigate multiple Oracle screens to check PO history and review inventory and supply/demand data (view-only). Support planners with accurate status updates. Support production meetings by preparing PO and part status outside of Oracle (typically in Excel).

Responsibilities

Manage Blanket Purchase Orders (BPOs) with regular interaction with ~5 suppliers (out of ~9 total). Handle releases, expediting, and payment follow-up. Support farm-out and repair activities, interacting with ~20 suppliers over short cycles. Communicate with suppliers via email and calls (Teams) to request quotes (RFQs), expedite materials, and clarify requirements. Maintain documentation for auditability and PO attachments.
