Job Description

***ORDER IS BILLING TO A PD DEPARTMENT THAT REQUIRES THE *** PEOPLE LEADER TO OBTAIN A SECOND APRPOVAL TO EXTEND AN OFFER*** In this high-impact role, you will be part of the lead architect team for the foundational electrical architectures of our future global platforms. This isn't just about circuits and connectors - it's about blueprinting complex, intelligent electrical architectures that must remain resilient under every conceivable condition. You will solve "first-of-their-kind" technical challenges, bridging the gap between advanced hardware design and high-level systems logic. If you are passionate about defining electrical architectures of vehicles 2030s and beyond, this is your opportunity to leave a lasting mark on the industry.

Skills Required:
Technical Requirements Expert-level understanding of Systems Engineering principles (e.g., requirement decomposition, V-model, interface management, FMA, verification). Theoretical and practical knowledge of electrical networks and architectures. Understanding the application of ISO 26262 functional safety standards in a systems or hardware context. Capability to effectively utilize AI tools and methods for architectural optimization or system analysis."

Skills Preferred:
Electrical Engineering

Experience Required:
A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related technical field. 2+ years of experience in the design, modeling, or architecture of complex electrical systems. Expert-level understanding of Systems Engineering principles (e.g., requirement decomposition, V-model, interface management, FMA, verification). Theoretical and practical knowledge of electrical networks and architectures. Understanding the application of ISO 26262 functional safety standards in a systems or hardware context. Capability to effectively utilize AI tools and methods for architectural optimization or system analysis.

Experience Preferred:
Master's degree or Ph.D. in one of the aforementioned engineering fields 5+ years of experience blueprinting complex vehicle electrical architectures or high-reliability power grids. Proficiency in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). Familiarity with *** engineering processes and tools (FEDE, Jama, GPDS, Jira). Exceptional communication skills with the ability to "sell" a technical vision to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. Proven experience applying ISO 26262 functional safety standards in a systems or hardware context.

You'll translate emerging technology trends and customer needs into scalable, forward-looking architecture strategies that keep *** at the cutting edge. Lead Systems Engineering Excellence: Utilize a rigorous systems engineering methodology to translate abstract vehicle-level goals into concrete hardware architecture requirements. You will own the requirement cascade from the vehicle level down to individual power supply components and subsystems. Drive Requirement Management and Enforcement: Own the lifecycle of technical requirements from creation through verification and closure, ensuring traceability across every level of the architecture.
