Associate, Debt Capital Markets

Help support the development of the DCM Americas business in conjunction with Global Banking, Financial Markets and Corporate Finance and other product partners globally. Help manage and grow the Origination of the Capital Markets product suite with existing and new clients. Help support the growth in DCM revenues and market awareness of SCB’s global DCM capabilities. Help maintain proper cost, compliance and risk controls Business Support the senior coverage of Americas clients in coverage of the sectors mentioned above. Support the marketing and execution of fixed income issuance into the global capital markets (US, Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa). Support US Private Placement transactions (from pitching to execution). Help prepare and provide clients with information pertaining to market updates, pricing, issuance strategy and regulatory changes. Help maintain and continuously elevate DCM’s profile through internal and external marketing. Processes Help support the execution of all transactions with DCM legal and bond syndicate. Provide clients with pitches, proposals, presentations and analyses related to potential bond issuance and liability management. With Bond Syndicate and senior members of the DCM team, be jointly responsible for pricing updates and new issue executions. Help cross sell interest rate and Foreign Exchange risk management with Financial Markets sales. Recruitment Assessments Expected annual base pay range for the role is 136,000 USD to 170,000 USD. The final offer will be determined on an individualised basis using a number of variables, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and education, internal relativity, and specific work location. At Standard Chartered Bank, Base pay is only part of the total compensation package.
