Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Job Description & Requirements

Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below
Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel
Required: All Candidates are expected to Float as needed 

Required: extensive wound care experience is preferred

Job Summary:
Under general supervision, performs professional occupational therapy activities, including planning, evaluating, and implementing individual and group treatment plans as directed by a physician.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Interpret physician referrals and select appropriate standardized evaluation procedures.
• Evaluate patients in areas such as independent living skills, occupational performance, work adjustment, educational skills, play-leisure abilities, social skills, and psychosocial skills.
• Develop treatment plans with short- and long-term goals, including frequency and duration of therapy.
• Assist patients with procedures, including designing and fabricating adaptive equipment and orthotic devices, joint protection, and body mechanics.
• Communicate goals and progress to patients and families.
• Assist with discharge planning, including ordering equipment and instructing patients on home therapy plans.
• Supervise students as needed.
