Our client, a leading organization in the technology and systems operations sector, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Systems Operations Engineering department, supporting critical infrastructure and ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of essential applications. Location: Charlotte, NC

What's the Job?

• Define and establish Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and error budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and enhance observability, telemetry, and monitoring tools to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual toil and improve operational efficiency.
• Lead and execute production readiness activities, including Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) and Permit to Operate procedures.
• Provide ongoing application support, troubleshooting, and incident management to maintain high service availability.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture, with a focus on reliability engineering.
• At least 2+ years of experience leading, operating, and performing in a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team environment.
• Proficiency with Autosys and Oracle, supporting enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience supporting applications on Kubernetes / OpenShift and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong understanding of observability tools such as AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, and Aternity.
