TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Greensboro, North Carolina, 27401!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year required. Previous charge experience preferred. Acute care rehab experience preferred. License: Active RN license required. Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: Epic charting system experience required. Must pass a compliance EKG exam. Description: This position involves working 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Every 3rd weekend and holidays as needed may be required. Floating to other campuses may occur as needed. Patient ratios are typically 1:6 but could rise to 1:7 on a rotating basis. Responsibilities include interpreting laboratory results and medication reconciliation. You will also manage patient health questionnaires, history, allergies, and vital signs. Skills in dressing changes, aseptic/sterile procedure tray setup, and phlebotomy are required. You will perform telephone triage and handle pharmacy calls and patient refill requests. Care will focus on patients with CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, neurological diagnoses, and generalized debility. The role is part of an inpatient rehab department providing specialized care for qualified patients with rehabilitation needs. Interdisciplinary support includes teams for IV, respiratory services, interpretation, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and rapid response. Patient age groups will include adults and geriatrics. Experience with dysrhythmias interpretation and EKG testing is needed. Candidates cannot have any open cases in background checks. Travelers may be floated to any assigned campus as necessary. Modules related to the unit will be completed during orientation.
