Overview In Diagnostic Radiology at Main Campus Children's of Alabama, this role focuses on providing technical support to the Pediatric Imaging Diagnostic Division through the performance of radiological examinations and appropriate patient care. Schedule Part‑time, Day Shift. 3‑7 hour shifts. Responsibilities Operate all Radiological Equipment – fixed and mobile Operate Computed Radiography (CR) and Digital Radiography (DR) equipment Utilize immobilization devices Use and process cassettes Correctly use right and left lead Mitchell markers Manage patient‑related clerical and historical material Qualifications Education: Associates Degree in Radiology Technology OR Certificate from an approved Radiology Technology Program Licensure: Registered Radiology Technologist OR ARRT Registered within one year of hire date Credentials: Registered Radiology Technologist Equivalent Equivalencies: Associates Degree in Radiology Technology, ARRT registration within one year, etc. Department Overview Diagnostic Radiology is a medical specialty focused on using medical imaging to diagnose diseases and injuries within the body. It involves portable and stationary X‑ray machines as well as fluoroscopic machines. Images are created for radiologists to interpret and assess health conditions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
