Building Maintenance Worker
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Building Maintenance Worker to help maintain the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of our property. The ideal candidate has experience performing general maintenance, repairs, and preventative upkeep of commercial or residential buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine building maintenance and repairs.
- Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry issues.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities.
- Inspect buildings and report maintenance needs.
- Repair doors, windows, locks, walls, flooring, and fixtures.
- Maintain clean and safe indoor and outdoor areas.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Previous building maintenance or handyman experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
