Forklift Operator Warehouse

Position Description Ryder is hiring a Material Handler in Waterloo, Iowa — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about. Responsibilities Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting. Operate within performance measurement guidelines of the contract. Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks. Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading). Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours. Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred. Valid forklift operator certification. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a diverse environment. Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels. Highly thorough and dependable; punctual with good attendance. Works with minimal supervision and demonstrates initiative. Demonstrates accuracy, even under pressure. Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs; ability to stand for long periods. Ability to work with health and safety methods; flexible schedule across various shifts. Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
