ResponsibilitiesAs a Unit Manager - LPN, your role will involve ensuring the delivery of compliant, high-quality, and cost-effective healthcare while achieving favorable clinical outcomes, as well as patient, family, and employee satisfaction within your designated unit.
- Work in partnership with the Director of Nursing to ensure sufficient nursing coverage for safe care delivery.
- Offer professional guidance and oversight to non-professional staff within the unit.
- Assess the educational needs of the staff and collaborate with the Nurse Educator to develop relevant training programs.
- Manage medication protocols to ensure adequate supplies and compliance with organizational policies.
- Provide direct patient care alongside other nursing staff to maintain clinical skills.
- Graduation from an accredited licensed practical nursing program.
- Current licensure from the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the relevant state.
- A minimum of one year of experience in nurse management is required.
- Must hold a current BLS/CPR certification.
