Product Demonstrator Part Time

Responsibilities Complete in-store food and non-food demonstrations. Acquire and maintain knowledge of products represented. Prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies. Intercept consumers and demonstrate products in a professional manner. Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements. Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner. Effectively communicate product features and benefits. Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives. Maintain a clean, sterile and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals. Properly set up and prepare the Event Table for execution. Achieve 100% execution on assigned work. Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections. Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives. Complete expense reports as per company policy. Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution. Access the internet, navigate company systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents, including Microsoft Word & Adobe PDF forms. This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week; the company maintains discretion to change the role based on business needs. Qualifications Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer Skills: Proficient in using and navigating personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local Food Handlers permit may be required. Physical Demands: Stand and walk all shift; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms (including tasks overhead up to 65 inches); talk and hear; read instructions and perform events; stoop; kneel; squat; climb or step up ladder; balance; lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds); push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden with appliances, supplies and product; prepare foods and beverages using required appliances, such as cooking utensils, knives, convection oven, coffee maker, electric fryer, microwaves; be in contact with cleaning supplies. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel. Physical Appearance: Ensure a professional appearance and proper grooming; present neat, clean, appropriately groomed appearance; specific retailer dress code requirements in training documents.
