Drywaller Position at Greystone ConstructionThe Drywaller safely performs all carpentry, drywall and assigned tasks on job sites. Drywallers are responsible in performing work to the highest quality and safety standards while also assisting less experienced team members. Drywallers will report directly to the Lead Drywaller or Superintendent on site.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnforce all Company safety policies, OSHA policies and other applicable safety standards.Perform work on construction sites to the highest of quality and safety standards.Operate hand and power tools of all types.Inspection and operation of aerial equipment, skid steers and forklifts.Hang, tape, sand and paint drywall in a timely mannerUnload materials, store efficiently and stage jobsite for operations.Maintain a clean and safe jobsite.Perform other related duties as required.DemolitionQualifications5 years previous drywalling experience.Ability to travel to job sites as required.Able to apply sound judgment and problem-solving skills to projects and challenges.Skills, Knowledge and AbilitiesAbility to read and comprehend blueprints.Knowledge of acceptable construction site practices including occupational safety and health regulations.Ability to comprehend and follow complex direction.Determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to complete each task assignment.Must be comfortable with high intensity work environment.High level of motivation, integrity, and commitment to team and customers.Strong work ethic, decisive, ambitious, with an unwavering commitment to quality and professional work.Working Environment / Physical RequirementsSitting, standing, walking un-even surfaces, climbing, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis and occasionally lifting up to 80 lbs.Must be capable of working on job sites where temperatures and noise level can fluctuate, and the ability to see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients as needed.Must have near visual acuity to review written documentation.Ability to wear job required Personal Protective Equipment.Our Total RewardsUp to 100% company paid health insurance for our team members.Safety training and professional development opportunities.Annual discretionary profit-sharing contribution to the 401k.401(k) match 25% of employee contribution up to 8% of your annual wages.Why GreystoneWe value Safety, Teamwork, Relationships, Integrity, Versatility, and Excellence —the foundation of how we think and act every day.We exist to build greatness and pursue limitless potential in people and places, striving to be the most trusted partner with top talent committed to excellence while building a legacy of positive impact.We live by the Greystone Way: Build it like you own it.
