Occasional travel is required between location with advanced schedule assignments. We are willing to train candidates with relevant medical experience. Apply today and let's be partners in success!Some the role responsibilities:Answers the telephone, triages calls appropriately and takes messages when neededSchedules patient appointmentsObtains and verifies patient demographic and financial informationAnswers questions as able, referring clinical questions to RNs or Clinical CoordinatorEnters/verifies patient information in the computer systemCompletes all necessary insurance informationProcesses and prepares the outgoing mailPerforms health record audits and/or assists as required with authorizationsSchedules follow-up appointments, outpatient procedures and tests and makes referrals to physicians as necessaryRequests medical records/reports from referring physiciansConfirms patient procedure appointmentsMails/faxes prep brochures and other materials to patients as necessaryWhat we are looking for:High School graduate or equivalentKnowledge of medical terminology and CPT and ICD-9 codingPrevious front office experience in a medical practice environment, preferredCurrent CPR certification preferredMust successfully pass a background check and a drug screeningWhat we offer:A professional work environment where you can learn, enhance your skills and grow into new opportunities.Competitive pay ratesPaid time off available upon hire datePaid holidays with bonus paid floating holidaysBenefits available on the 1st of the month following start date with us401k retirement plan with company matchWe are a proud Equal Employment Opportunity Employer!Apply today to learn more about Pinnacle GI!
