Vice President of Legal

To lead all legal operations with a strategic approach, the full-time remote Vice President of Legal will manage government contracting, commercial agreements, and regulatory compliance while serving as the sole in-house legal counsel supported by outside experts. Key responsibilities: Serve as the subject matter expert on federal procurement, negotiating contracts and supporting proposal reviews Negotiate and manage commercial and vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory laws Develop legal and risk management strategies that align with business objectives and support growth Required qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing 7 to 10 years of law practice experience with a focus on government contracts and SaaS transactions Strong knowledge of the FAR, DFARS, and government data rights, with experience negotiating with primes and contracting officers Significant experience in negotiating and drafting commercial agreements in the technology sector Working knowledge of privacy and data protection compliance, including GDPR and US state laws
