Job Overview:  

• We are offering a $2000 sign-on bonus ( $1000 after 3 months and $1000 after 6 months) separate from your regular compensation. We are a high quality very modern almost brand-new multi-specialty group private practice (NOT a DSO)  seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team, Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday 9-6 and Friday 9-1. No evenings or weekends.  
• We reserve a full hour for each appointment to make sure that you have enough time for each patient.  
• We currently have a dental assistant assigned to sterilize all instruments.  
• As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. 
• Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings and assist the dentist in various procedures.

Duties:  

• Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, root planning, and polishing.
• Take dental X-rays.
• Conduct oral cancer screenings. 
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide. personalized oral care instructions.
• Administer local anesthesia as needed. 
• Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories.
• Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff.

Experience:  To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications: 

• Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred.
• Proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Epic, or similar systems. 
• Knowledge of dental coding and terminology related to dental procedures.
• Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and basic anatomy knowledge.
• Strong understanding of infection control protocols in a dental setting.
• Ability to operate scanning systems for digital impressions (preferred but not required).
• Experience in dental assisting is a plus.
