Supplier Quality Engineer

Job TitleResponsibilities:Work with Material Review Board (MRB) to review and process QNs.Generate supplier quality notifications (SQNs) and send them to suppliers.As required, discuss with suppliers regarding the issue and ensure suppliers acknowledge SQNs sent to them.Perform containment, correction, root cause analysis, preventive action for the issue by working with the suppliers.Initiate SCARs for supplier caused quality problems and collaborate with suppliers to close the SCARs in time.Drive part qualification following APQP process. Work with internal teams like R&D, supply chain, procurement, etc.Guide suppliers during the APQP process on all APQP deliverables.Use statistical technics to assess process capability, perform process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) before approval of mass production.Requirements:Bachelor's Degree/ Vocational Education in Engineering Science, Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or equivalent.Well versed with SAP and IT tools (Microsoft suit), etc. will be added advantage.Minimum 4 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement Techniques or equivalent.Preferred Skills:Supplier Quality Management.Data Analysis & Interpretation.Quality Specifications.CAPA Methodologies.Documentation & Reporting.Continuous Improvement.Problem solving (8D, root cause analysis).Part qualification, APQP.Process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ).Statistical process control, measurement system analysis.
