Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 hour shifts, Days, 07:00 - 19:30. Every other weekend and holidays as needed. Floating required as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a focus on cardiac telemetry to provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have a background in cardiac patient management, particularly in areas such as congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, and arrhythmias, along with secondary experience in respiratory problems like COPD and pneumonia.

Responsibilities

• Manage and assess cardiac telemetry patients.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide patient education and support.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in cardiac telemetry.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Active RN license must be in hand at the time of submission.
• EPIC charting system experience required.
