Step into a rewarding contract position working with elementary-aged students in a vibrant school setting in the Concord area. As a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC), you’ll make a lasting impact on students’ communication skills while collaborating with dedicated educators and caring support staff.
Your expertise will be put to work supporting a manageable caseload at the elementary level, where you’ll assess, diagnose, and provide targeted speech and language interventions. This full-time role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with students, educators, and families, working as a vital member of the academic community.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP-CCC certification and current state licensure
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of assessment tools, IEP processes, and intervention strategies
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Passion for helping children reach their full communication potential
Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with regulations
- Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to students
- Track student progress and prepare detailed reports for families and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Offer guidance and resources to caregivers and educators to maximize student success
