No DUI or reckless (5) years, no careless (3) three years. Must have stable employment for the past (3) three years. Knowledge of HACCP and food safety is a plus. Pass DOT physical examination as required by applicable state. Must be proactive and possess good communication and people skills with ability to exercise sound judgment. Must have a good sense of direction with minimal delivery experience required. Able to easily lift 25 pounds. General Responsibilities: Makes assigned pickups and deliveries in a timely, professional manner. Deliveries/Pickups may include the following: Make pickups from our vendors Warehouse customer deliveries (no touch) Transfers product to and from Plant to Plant. The following are duties of the Class A Driver: Deliver products according to the BOL’s. Modify the delivery quantity on the invoice and notify the customer’s support for discrepancy. Comply with all DOT/ Company rules and regulations. Comply with Company Safety rules. Prepare necessary daily reports as required by DOT, corporate and supervisor.
