Position Details: SPED Teacher 26/27
- Title: SPED Teacher
- Location: Forest Lake, MN
- Duration: 02-Sep-2026 to 04-Jun-2027
- Onsite/Virtual: Onsite (1 opening at Lino Lakes, MN 55038 and 1 opening at Forest Lake, MN 55025)
- Position Type: Contract
- Working Hours: 32.5 to 35 hours weekly, from Monday to Friday, 30 min un-paid lunch.
- Student Age Group: Elementary school
Responsibilities: Special Education Teacher 26/27
- Instruction and Curriculum Adaptation: Develop and implement individualized lesson plans and instructional strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students with disabilities.
- Assessment and Monitoring: Conduct assessments and monitor student progress to track their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Collaboration: Work closely with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to coordinate services and ensure a cohesive educational plan for each student.
- Supportive Environment: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the unique needs of students with special needs.
Qualifications: SpEd Teacher 26/27
- Minnesota Department of Education Special Education license required.
- Licensure in DCD or ASD or EBD preferred.
- Holds a Bachelor's degree.
