At Work Skills Corporation (WSC) , you'll work alongside a supportive clinical team to help individuals with mental, emotional, developmental, and physical disabilities build skills, increase independence, and reach their personal and professional goals.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Michigan-licensed Occupational Therapist with a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Registered OTR (Occupational Therapist Registered).
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to collaborate with a clinical team and support individuals with disabilities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As our Occupational Therapist, you will:

• Assess clients and identify strengths, challenges, and areas for growth
• Develop individualized treatment goals and intervention plans
• Provide therapeutic strategies to improve daily living, motor, cognitive, social, and functional skills
• Recommend and train clients on adaptive equipment and assistive technology
• Help identify environmental modifications that promote independence at home, work, and in the community
• Educate clients, families, caregivers, and team members on treatment strategies
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary clinical team
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress records
• Participate in case reviews, quality improvement, and clinical best practices
• Advocate for each individual's needs, choices, goals, and independence
