Hiring: Quality Control Technician

Location: Scarborough, ME (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Contract: Through 12/31/2026 (Possible Extension)

 

Are you passionate about laboratory work and quality? We're seeking a Quality Control Technician to join a leading medical diagnostics company. In this role, you'll perform laboratory testing, ensure product quality, and support manufacturing by following FDA and quality system standards.

 

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control testing on in-process and finished diagnostic products.
• Conduct final product release testing.
• Perform laboratory testing for Lateral Flow, ELISA, and Molecular products.
• Review batch records and maintain accurate documentation.
• Troubleshoot technical and quality-related issues.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, and company quality standards.

 

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (or higher) in Biology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 1 year of laboratory or Quality Control experience.
• Experience using laboratory equipment and pipettes.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a regulated laboratory environment.
• Knowledge of GMP, GLP, FDA, or ISO standards.
• Experience with ELISA, Molecular, PCR, or Lateral Flow testing.
• Laboratory equipment calibration and troubleshooting experience.
