Position: Assistant Project Manager
Reports to: Project Manager
Location: South Bend, Indiana
Pay Range: $70,000 - $99,000

Superior and our tri-venture, CST, are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to help drive our electrical construction projects forward. The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for helping make operations on-site more efficient and will play a key role in our contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding, and contract administration functions. This role is based on a jobsite in South Bend, Indiana and will be a member of Superior's Project Operations team..

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the creation and submission of RFI’s and ensure that all RFI’s are integrated into project documentation
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers on the lifecycle of the project submittal process
• Support with the creation, submission, and management of change orders
• Capture the progress of our work by updating contract documents and photographing the jobsite
• Monitor the project schedule and provide ongoing updates to Project Operations and Field Operations leadership
• Work closely with the Foreman on delivery of materials and equipment to the jobsite
• Lead project close-out, including documentation, warranties, waivers, as-builds, and attic stock
• Develop an understanding of project finance, working closely with Project Operations and Finance leadership 

Your Expertise

• Required: You have at least 1 year of construction or project operations experience on a commercial construction jobsite (including relevant internship experience); a degree in Construction Systems Management, Engineering, or a related field; or a Construction Management certificate
• Bonus Points: You have prior experience supporting commercial construction projects in a Project Operations role 
• Bonus Points: You hold an active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
